The simplest way to find out what version of Windows you have is to bring up the start menu (tap on the start button) and type in “system” (without the quotes).

You should get a few options appear – click on the one labelled “System information” and look near the top to see if it says “Windows 10 Home”, “Windows 10 pro” or something else.

If you struggle with that, or if you’re not sure if you’re using Windows at all (or a different system such as Android or iOS), there’s another way.
